As you get to know more about the condition and become more familiar with the treatment, you may feel more positive and in control. However, there may still be times when you feel low, especially if you are facing other problems in your life. When this happens, it may be helpful to talk through how you feel with someone in whom you feel happy to confide

In Leeds there is a patient support group called Leeds Lymph Link which provides telephone support . There is also a national patient support group that has a website and telephone helpline. This is called the Lymphoedema Support Network
